If the parties agree on all issues and you have a signed, notarized, written agreement, I will charge $1500 for your divorce. As always, that price includes the initial filing fee.

 

California allows you to get divorced very easily – if you agree on everything. It is called the Default Divorce with Agreement. Here is how it works:

One party files for divorce.

The other party does not respond within 30 days, and does not pay the second filing fee (which is now $435)

The parties file a “Default with Agreement”. The agreement is signed and notarized by both parties. I push through the rest of the paperwork to get you your divorce and judgment.

Some attorneys offer flat fee divorces for $2500 to $3500. They require that both parties are in complete agreement. I will do a Default Divorce with an Agreement for $1500 - as always, this includes the initial filing fee. If both parties can agree, I do all the paperwork for both parties. You pay me $1500.

If you cannot come to an agreement, I will still represent you for $2500.
